How to set ringtone on Samsung Galaxy Ace
I find many Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 users want to know how to set ringtone on their new cellphones. If you have the same question, you can find the answer here. All of us like to set custom ringtone on our device. You can set music as ringtone, or you can download free ringtone from computer to Samsung Galaxy Ace, then you can set them as ringtone. To set ringtone on your cellphone, do the steps below.
Samsung phones questions-How to set ringtone on Samsung Galaxy Ace:
-From the Home screen, tap the Menu key.
-Click Next to continue, or click the highlighted area on the phone.
-Tap Settings.
-Tap Sound.
-Tap Phone ringtone.
-Tap the required ringtone.
-Tap OK.
-The ringtone has been successfully changed.
When you find favorite ringtones on line, you can download them to your Samsung Galaxy Ace, then set them as ringtone. You can also find the driver for your device here.

just create a new folder called “ringtones” on the root of the SD card, then move your ringtones there. and you are allow to set them as your new ringtones.

Can you not have songs as a ringtone on this phone? I dont like any of the set ringtones and i have to have my phone on silent

i was complaining for the same thing. i tried what you said with new folder named “ringtones” on SD card, and it works. yey. thank you alot

Just install Astro File,go to Market and you will find it.

i just bought samsung galaxy ace. i wanna change my ringtone but when i clicked sound> phone ringtone, there isn’t option “required ringtone” only ringtones from samsung. can u help me? what should i do? thank u.
