How to set music as ringtone on Samsung Galaxy W

How to set music as custom ringtone on Samsung Galaxy WBell released Samsung Galaxy W 4G which was sold as Samsung Exhibit II in US, it is a mid-range cellphone. I have given the user manual for this new device before, as it has been available in Europe. Today I want to give a tutorial about how to set music as custom ringtone on Samsung Galaxy W.

On android cellphones, different folders have different features, such as all photos and videos are stored in DICM folder. If you want to set your favorite music as notification ringtones, you should have a folder named Ringtones in SD card.

Let me show you this work step by step. Connect your Samsung Galaxy W to a computer using a USB cable, then use your cellphone as mass storage, go to My computer, click removable disk, check whether there is a folder named Ringtones, if not, create a folder named Ringtones, transfer music files which you want to set as ringtones on Samsung Galaxy W to this folder. If you have finished it, disconnect your device from computer.

On your Samsung Galaxy W, go to settings to set ringtone, all music files stored in Ringtones can be set as ringtones now.
