I bought Samsung Wave today and when I got home I installed KIES connected my phone and turned it on… everything was running smoothly and I was happy with my phone, but suddenly this pop up for firmware update(from kies) appeared and offered me a firmware update I of course clicked Update and that’s where the trouble started….. in the middle of update I got a message that update unexpectedly failed for unknown error… the kies then asked me would I do a recovery, I of course clicked yes and the recovery had error as well…. :/
Now I am in desperate situation nooooooooooooooooooo
I did change device into restore mode(download mode)by pressing start while holding down volume and camera keys(like instruction says)and the black screen with blue border and red letters “download mode appeared” and try to connect it for recovery but it all the time says connecting……and never connects
anyone pls help, thanks

I found a solution and that is getting a new phone, they said in the store that this is a hardware problem, thanks and good luck to all!
I may add that this is a really great phone:)I love it

i got the same problem as gox and i took my phone to this computer geek guy and he got it fixed for me but now im having another problem when i try to update samsung apps from phone its downloads it but fails installing any suggestions?

i bought wave four months ago and i have downloaded many applications on my phone but now it has some problems like restarts automatically every time when i change the sim card.
now its getting even worst coz it restarts every time. i am worried,…

try to take off the battery and reinsert, reboot again.
