But there is no timeline when the update will be released, we are all hoping the update is under testing and wish everying goes fine. Then you don’t have to wait for the firmware update without do anything new to your Samsung Galaxy S T769, the android OS was initially designed to be customizable.

Sometimes you need to sync your phone to your PC to exchange contents, then you need the USB driver for your phone, and here you can get the software.

T-Mobile_T769_Blaze_4G_USB_Drivers.exe

This is not only the USB driver for the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, the software package also contains Mass Storage Mode driver, ADB driver and Tethering driver. So it is very important file if you want to root the phone after android 4.0 update, as there is the ADB driver.

This is the first time that we see a handset can have so much abilities, and it makes us to believe that a smartphone would take the place of a computer.

Nowadays, everyone are concerning where the new Samsung Galaxy S III can be bought, though Samsung had made its claim that this phone would be sold all over the world, but it seems we want to know who will be the real first Galaxy S III owner.

If you are waiting for this phone, I think you should already know the specs and features on the phone, and we just learned the phone can be rooted easily. What’s more, the user manual of the Samsung Galaxy S III was provided already on the official site, here you can download it to your computer by the following link.

GT-I9300_UM_EU_Icecream_Eng_Rev.1.0_120515_Screen.pdf

Note: this user manual is for the European version Galaxy i9300, while even the phone is from different countries or carriers, there is little difference. So, just learn something new about your future phone first, especially there are many new fatures on the device.

This time the Samsung Galaxy S III i9300 was also involved, it was said this new flagship phone uses the same standard boot.img as it was used in Samsung Galaxy S I9000 and Galaxy II and Galaxy Note N7000.

An android developer from the XDA forum announced that he found the method to root the Samsung Galaxy S III i9300, though he doesn’t have that phone. His work was done remotely, but still that is a good discovery. Just a few words can tell you how to root the SGS S III i9300: repackage the kernel with a modified adb binary and install SuperUser manually, that’s all.

Note: his work was against the original Galaxy S III i9300, this is the European version of this third generation device, things may slightly different when the phone was sold all over the world. Especially the carrier customized versions may be more diffcult to root. So we will stay tuned on this sort of thing.

I noticed that its customers keep fleeing during the last couple of months, I don’t know the correct reason, while I think there might be something to do with the ICS update, as they need the android 4.0 ICS firmware update for their device. But there were no words on the ICS update for its phones. Till now, some of the Samsung devices were confirmed to receive the highly-anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich update.

These devices are listed on Samsung support site, they are: Samsung Galaxy S II t989, Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G T769, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus T869 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 T859. Two phones and two tablets will be pleased to get the android 4.0 OS.

You may ask: what about other phones from T-Mobile? I think I should remind you, other phones are not belong to the Galaxy S II line, whey will never receive the ICS update, all you can expect is an update that contains some of the android 4.0 features, it is called ‘Value Pack’.

While neither the ICS nor the ‘Value Pack’ update have exact release date right now, but we can expect that they arrive at your handset quickly. After all, T-Mobile US don’t want to lose more subscribers.

But the pre-fix of the new software on these to phones are not the same, it is SCH-R930.FD02, while the Galaxy Nexus is SPH-L700.FD02.

This software update for the Samsung Galaxy S Aviator fixes two main issues, the Bluetooth search issue and Squelching issue during a voice call. So, it is a small software update, but if your phone has those issue, you should download and install the new software update to your phone right now.

Before installing the update, you should back up the data on your phone, and then download the Simple Upgrade Tool to your computer, then double click the exe file to install it on your computer. Finally, it is time to upgrade your Samsung Galaxy S Aviator to new FD02 version.

1. Totally turn off the phone by removing the battery from your device, then replace the battery in the device.
2. Plug your USB data cable into your PC. Press and hold the Volume down key on your device. While holding the Volume down key, plug the USB data cable into your device.
3. Hold the Volume down key until the following screen appears. Select Next.
4. Press the Volume up key. The downloading screen will appear. Select Next.
5. Device drivers will be installed. Do not unplug the USB data cable from the device. Once drivers are installed select Next.
6. Press Start Software Download button to start the upgrade process.

This update may take up to 15 minutes to complete. At last check the software version on your phone from Menu > Settings > About Phone, it should be SCH-R930.FD02. Now you can import your data to your Galaxy S Aviator and enjoy it.

And Samsung keep its promise, earlier today, the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III was officially lanuched.

There were kinds of rumored specs and features that were thought to be on the Galaxy S III, while now we can count how many of them are found on the phone as expected.

Samsung Galaxy S III specs: it is a slim handset that is only 8.6mm thick and weighing 133g, 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with 16:9 wider viewing angles, 8MP primary camera and a 1.9MP front facing camera. This is the first time Samsung use its own Exynos 1.4GHz quad-core processor on the new smartphone complemented by 1GB of RAM, the internal memory has 16GB and 32GB flavors, and also with a MicroSD memory card slot, a 2100mAh battery should be able to keep the new Samsung Galaxy S III waking up for much longer than any other phones. And of course this new phone is nodoubt powered by android 4.0.4 ICS OS.

If the hard specs are what you can imagine, then the following new features on the Samsung Galaxy S III are completely new to you. I am sure you didn’t even heard of them before.

-‘Smart stay’ feature: the GALAXY S III recognizes how you are using your phone by having the front camera identify your eyes; the phone maintains a bright display for continued viewing pleasure.

-‘S Voice’ feature: just like Apple’s Siri and Google’s Voice search, this is a natural language user interface, to listen and respond to your words.

-‘Smart alert’ feature: the phone will vibrate to notify missed statuses when picked up after being idle, then you don’t have to activate the screen to see those info as you always did.

-‘S Beam’ feature: this is an advanced ‘android beam’ feature, 1 GB movie file to be shared within three minutes and a 10MB music file within two seconds by simply touching another GALAXY S III phone, even without a Wi-Fi or cellular signal.

-‘Buddy photo share’ feature: it is an auto photo share function, allows photos to be easily and simultaneously shared with all your friends pictured in an image directly from the camera or the photo gallery.

-‘AllShare Cast’ feature: you can wirelessly connect the GALAXY S III to television to immediately transfer smartphone content onto a larger display.

-‘AllShare Play’ feature: instantly share any forms of files between GALAXY S III and your tablet, PC, and televisions regardless of the distance between the devices.

-‘Group Cast’ feature: this is the sub-feature under the ‘AllShare Cast’, it allows you to share your screen among multiple friends on the same Wi-Fi network; you can make comments and draw changes at the same time with your co-workers, witnessing real-time sharing on your individual device.

-‘Wi-Fi Channel Bonding’ feature: it is an assisant feature that ensure faster content sharing and connectivity by doubling the Wi-Fi bandwidth.

-‘Pop up play’ feature: allows you to play a video anywhere on your screen while simultaneously running other tasks, eliminating the need to close and restart videos when checking new emails or surfing the Web.

-‘Burst shot’ feature: the phone instantly captures twenty continuous shots, and the ‘Best photo’ feature will select the best of eight photographs for you. This is very useful especially when you want to get some high quanlity photos.

You have seen those incredible new features on the Samsung Galaxy S III, but there are still some more features such as NFC, ‘Game Hub’, Video Hub and Music Hub that will be introduced when released.

Now,other smartphone vendors should feel nervious as this Samsung’s flagship phone is really the iPhone killer, here I just bless the price of the Samsung Galaxy S III is also competitive, in that case I would pick it up when it is released.

Though you may think they are waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S III, but I think the next generation Galaxy phone won’t come to the US by the end of this year. So, if you need a awesome android 4.0 device, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus should be your choice in the near future.

Things are not so nice when the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus was released, as the phone suffers 3G data issue, fortunately, it was a software issue, and Sprint released the FD02 software update fix the problem. Now everything is fine on the phone.

Now a week has past, I think some of the Sprint Galaxy Nexus users want to do something different on their phone, and the USB driver is a necessary software. And different phones have different USB drivers despite they are the same phone but only different carrier brand. So, if your Samsung Galaxy Nexus was Sprint custom-built, here is the file you need.

Sprint_L700_Galaxy_Nexus_USB_Driver_v1.4.6.0.exe

I think you can find something useful for your Sprint Galaxy Nexus here, or you can leave your question here, I will do my best to help you.

Along with the data package change, it released a new feature phone under this service, that is the Samsung SGH-A157 flip phone. Here I would like to give you my short review for this phone.

The Samsung A157 is a calmshell cellphone, take a look at the picture on the left, it is a basic phone for daily use, a 1.77 inch 262K TFT screen, Samsung Traditional UI and 256MB intermal memory are almost all the phone can provide. But it is a 3G phone, this means you can enjoy AT&T’s 3G network without a contract.

Samsung A157 is designed for schools, as it is a gophone, you can total control over what you pay, and I think most of you would choose the unlimited calling and texting plan. So, this is also a good phone for family plan. Once you are tired of this feature phone, it is very convenient to switch to a smartphone.

By the way, here is the user manual pdf download link (ATT_A157_English_User_Manual_LC4_F5.pdf), just in case you might want to look for something in setting the Samsung A157.

As early as 29 last month, some Samsung Galaxy Nexus users reported that their phones couldn’t connect to the 3G network, and there is no solution then. Quickly, Sprint made its announcement that they were testing a software update to have the problem fixed as fast as possible. I thought it would at least take about one week to solve the problem, but only two days later, the FD02 (the first OTA update since the phone was released) was released.

This FD02 software update not only fix the 3G data issue, but also update the Google Wallet on the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. This software update will take 1-2 days to arrive to your handset, so, if you still didn’t receive the OTA software update notification message, don’t worry, as every software update take stages to complete.

Maybe new problems emerges while the old problem be solved, so, if you find anything wrong on your Samsung Galaxy Nexus, please don’t hesitate to tell us here.

When all Samsung Galaxy S II series smartphones users are waiting for the android 4.0 ICS firmware update, or some of them are now enjoying the latest android OS. While the Samsung Galaxy S series devices users are not so luck, a software update called ‘Value Pack’ is the most they can expect, and also some of them have received the update.

While things are not so smoothly for Samsung Galaxy W users, UK users got the android 2.3.6 software update last month, and this time is time for Australian folks. If your Samsung Galaxy W phone is from Vondafone, you should check for a software update on your phone. The android 2.3.6 Gingerbread software update is also available for your phone.

There are not many important improvements and enhancements on this software update: 1. Introduction of Google Books 2. New iconography 3. New screen unlock animation 4. Security enhancements 5. Improved SMS stability.

Just like everything you do before installing a software update, you are recommended to back up your data on your Samsung Galaxy W, and the better way is to upgrade the phone via Kies by connecting your phone to PC.

Though it is not an important update, it may be a necessary preparation for the next ‘Value Pack’ update for your Samsung Galaxy W, so you’d better finish the software update on your phone.
